"It Gets Better"
They say not to talk about it
Like the elephant that's sitting on your chest
It's not a problem, just how we behave
All we can do is just give it our best
I guess that sometimes that's not enough
But through it all, we'll weather out the storm
I can see the light, but not quite yet
Giving up, is never a safe bet
So as we walk along, down all the dimmy lit halls
Pictures and broken promises hanging on the walls
Don't have to say everything in just a letter
Like the sun rising, everything gets better
They throw you down, and call you names
But you try to forget about
Like a sore thats festering inside you
Looking for another way to get out
It's always darkest before the dawn
And the night never seems to want to end
I can see the light, but not quite yet
Giving up, is never a safe bet
So as we walk along, down all the dimly lit halls
Pictures of broken promises hanging on the walls
Don't have to say everything in just a letter
Like the sun rising, everything gets better
{solo}
This isn't the end,
Life is what we make it
And we won't let them take it
So lets just try and bend
And lets not break it
So as we walk along, down all the dimly lit halls
Pictures and broken promises hanging on the walls
Don't have to say everything in just a letter
Like the sun rising, everything gets better
